Foster and Adoptive parents often acknowledge that they expected their journey to be difficult but are surprised at how far reaching the tough days can be. In this workshop we will explore how the most challenging days and experiences with our children may leave us wondering, “I knew this would be hard, but I never knew it would be this hard”. It is that hard, but by sharing, exploring new strategies, and developing tools for coping, parents will have a fresh perspective. Providers who work with our children can also benefit from this interactive workshop.
